José Veldman – Lawyer
José works in both the administrative and property law divisions. She provides legal advice and conducts litigation on matters involving planning and zoning law and environmental permissions. Furthermore, José conducts legal proceedings on administrative fines imposed on holiday rentals (including Airbnb).
She also has a keen interest in residential tenancy law, including statutes on rent, making her well suited to provide advice and conduct litigation on issues related to rent reviews and tenancy agreements.
José primarily works for medium-sized property developers, housing associations, operators of catering establishments and private individuals. She is driven, goal-oriented and very dedicated. José’s flexibility and ability to adapt enable her to promote the interests of her clients to the utmost.
José graduated from the University of Groningen in 2016. While studying, she worked as a legal assistant at various notary and law firms. She was also an active member of a civil law advocacy society. After graduating, José worked as a debt counsellor for more than a year before making the switch to the legal profession.
