Laura Pordon – Lawyer
Laura works in the corporate and insolvency law division. Her work includes providing advice on and drawing up agreements, general terms and conditions and shareholder agreements. Laura also advises clients on forms of collaboration and mergers and acquisitions.
In the insolvency law practice, Laura provides advice to and conducts litigation on behalf of clients that are in difficulty and companies that do business with companies in difficulty. In addition, she assists colleagues that have been appointed by the District Court of Amsterdam as receivers in bankruptcies.
Laura is an analytical thinker and pragmatic which means that she has a practical approach to legal issues. As well as being open and approachable she is also direct in the way she communicates.
Laura graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2018 and obtained her Master’s degree in Private Law: Commercial Law Practice. During her studies, Laura worked as an assistant for a legal debt restructuring (WSNP) manager and volunteered for the legal advice centre for the northern area in the province of Noord-Holland. She was also an intern and paralegal at Labré. Laura then spent several months travelling in South Africa before returning to Labré as a lawyer in September 2019.
Laura is a member of the Dutch Association of Young Insolvency Lawyers (JIRA).
