Sanjeev’s focus has been on Corporate Insolvency Strategy, Bankruptcy, Mediation and Arbitration, Public Advocacy, Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Restructuring, and related litigation. Through his career, Sanjeev has been associated with some marquee organizations including Suzuki Maruti, Apollo Tyres, Ernst & Young, Booz Allen, Arvind Mills, DS Group to name a few. He has been involved with successful resolutions under IBC (Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code) of corporate debtors in the domain of infrastructure, waste management as well as automotive space, including some without any haircut for the lenders. He has also been earlier associated with Chase India – a Public Advocacy Firm (www.chase- india.com) having advised companies like BMW, Coca Cola and Bla Bla Car on Public Advocacy and Strategic Issues with Government of India.
Sanjeev has worked extensively with Start-ups & SMEs to advise them on revival, growth and relationship management. He is acting as a Mentor to a Dubai based incubator (www.fastercapital.com). Sanjeev has also been involved in debt resolution and recovery of some Government organizations like STC and PEC as an Independent Member having been appointed by Ministry of Commerce.
In addition to his busy practice, Sanjeev is a member of the Managing Committee at PHD Chambers of Commerce & Industry and Chairs the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Committee. He is on the panel of Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC, High Court), Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA) / Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation (IIAM) apart from ICADR/ AICADR/SCOPE. Sanjeev is also an Associate Member of CIArb UK. Earlier, after graduating from SRCC, he acquired his degrees to be a Chartered Accountant (Merit Holder), Cost & Management Accountant and finally an Advocate, enrolled with Bar Council, Delhi. He is also an Alumni of ISB Kellogg’s.
