Yuri Katus – Lawyer
Yuri is an attorney within the Real Estate and Tenancy Law practice group, where he focuses on commercial real estate matters. He assists clients in determining their legal position by translating complex legal issues into clear and practical advice. In doing so, he advises and litigates on lease and purchase agreements, including rent revision matters and non-conformity disputes. His expertise also extends to drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements for both tenants and landlords. In addition, Yuri advises clients on the acquisition and sale of commercial real estate in the Netherlands.
Yuri was seconded for three months to a listed real estate investment company. This experience provided him with valuable insight into the way clients operate and conduct business, as well as a deeper understanding of their interests and priorities.
Clients value Yuri for his legal sharpness, pragmatic approach, and ability to act swiftly. They describe him as both professional and approachable.
Yuri studied at Utrecht University, where he completed his Master’s degree in Private Law with a specialization in Commercial Property Law in 2021. Following his studies, he worked as an attorney at Dentons Europe LLP, where he specialised in commercial lease relationships and real estate transactions. Yuri joined Labré advocaten in 2026.
Yuri is a member of the Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers (VJOJ), Fresh Professionals Foundation, and the Amsterdam Young Bar Association.
