Laura Pordon – Lawyer

Laura is part of the business and insolvency law department. She litigates and advises on various topics within these areas of law, such as director’s liability, shareholder disputes, and contractual disputes.Additionally, she is regularly appointed as a trustee in bankruptcies by the court and also acts as a lawyer for trustees.

Laura is analytical and level-headed, which results in a practical approach to legal issues. In communication, Laura is open, approachable, and direct.

Laura completed her Master’s degree in Private Law: Commercial Legal Practice at the University of Amsterdam in 2018. During her studies, she served as an assistant to a WSNP administrator and volunteered at the Legal Aid Clinic in North Holland. Laura began as a student intern at Labré, and after working as a legal assistant for a while, she began practicing as a lawyer in September 2019.

Laura has completed the specialization course in Insolvency Law for Trustees from the Center for Post-Academic Legal Education (CPO).

Laura is a member of the Dutch Association of Young Insolvency Lawyers (JIRA).

Mr. Pordon has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): Insolventierecht. Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
