USA: Morningstar Law Group Welcomes Chris and Will Graebe and Expands Business Litigation Practice

Morningstar Law Group has expanded its business litigation practice with the addition of attorneys Chris Graebe and Will Graebe. The Raleigh-based attorneys will assist clients with a variety of commercial litigation matters, including internal disputes, real estate and banking issues, failed transactions, and intellectual property disputes.

“Chris is one of the most respected business litigators in the state,” said Bill Brian, chair of Morningstar’s Litigation Practice Group. “Having Chris and his son Will join Morningstar is a sign that our litigation practice truly has come of age. Morningstar now has 13 litigation attorneys who provide both the breadth and the depth necessary to protect our clients in almost any type of business dispute.”

Chris has built a reputation for creative problem solving and zealous advocacy for his clients during a legal career spanning more than 30 years. North Carolina Super Lawyers has recognized Chris as one of the Top 100 lawyers in North Carolina every year since 2012. He is also consistently named to Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite and the Best Lawyers in America.

Chris began his career at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, now known as Womble Bond Dickinson, before he co-founded Graebe Hanna & Sullivan, a business litigation boutique.

“I have always admired Morningstar’s client-centered culture and commitment to professional excellence,” Chris said. “Will and I are very proud to join the firm’s business litigation team. One of the greatest joys of my career has been to practice law with my son. To be able to continue that among Morningstar’s stellar group is a great opportunity for both of us.”

Will, a 2018 graduate of the UNC School of Law, began his commercial litigation career at Yates McLamb & Weyher before joining his father at Graebe Hanna & Sullivan.

“We are very excited about Chris and Will joining the firm and look forward to helping them serve their clients’ needs. Their additions are a big win for our litigation team going forward,” said Chris Jackson, operations partner at Morningstar.
