Gemkom, one of Turkey’s leading engineering and manufacturing companies in the steel sector, assisted by MPRD & Partners, has acquired 100 percent of the shares of SBM-IRFI Srl, based in the province of Brescia, a leader in the design, construction, and erection of medium-heavy carpentry for the steel, petrochemical, energy, and other sectors, whose shareholders were assisted by bureau Plattner and Fante Group.
bureau Plattner assisted the shareholders of SBM-IRFI with all legal and structuring aspects of the transaction, with a team headed by partners Massimo Petrucci and Carlo Gurioli , assisted by senior associate Federica Getilli for labor law matters and payroll manager Sabino Piattone for all labor advisory matters. Fante Group handled the financial aspects, with a team led by partner Mattia Patti, assisted by senior Sergio Colombo.
