The WLN Board are very pleased to announce that they have awarded two young lawyers Jorge Mañá Award grant this year:
Our 2023 awardees are: Pietro Bonaparte (Keizers Advocaten, Eindhoven) and Kamila Segien (ebl miller rosenfalck, London).
The winner’s grant will support Pietro in spending time with fellow WLN member firm Themis Studio Legale in Reggio Emilia, and it will support Kamila in spending time with Aquinas Law Alliance in Singapore!
The WLN Board members all send Pietro and Kamila our warm congratulations.
We received a high quantity and quality of applications this year and want to thank our member firms for encouraging their young lawyers to apply.
Background: the Jorge Mañá Young Lawyers Award is an annual grant made by WLN to a lawyer under the age of 35 who is employed by a WLN member firm. Jorge Mañá Argüelles was a valued colleague, friend and partner in WLN, who died tragically after a skiing accident in spring 2009 at the age of 41. The WLN Board promotes the Award in memory of Jorge and as a symbol for the good relationships in the network which lie at the heart of satisfying and prosperous business.
