Carry Dullaart – Partner
Carry’s regular clients include a large number of national and international companies, particularly in the real estate and IT sector because of his affinity with and experience in the IT & Tech industry.
Carry is highly valued by clients for his strategic approach, tenacity and pragmatic solutions, even in the most challenging cases. Carry likes to keep short lines of communication with clients and enjoys designing and implementing litigation and business strategies. When working on M&A transactions, he is able to familiarise himself with every aspect of a case, including the risks involved, and to use this knowledge and understanding in drawing up legal documentation.
Carry graduated from Leiden University in 2008. After graduating he worked at NautaDutilh and Cleber, where he gave legal advice on mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcies and the enforcement of security interests on behalf of banks.
Carry completed the postgraduate Grotius courses Insolvency Law (INSOLAD) and Company Law. He is a member of the international (INSOL International), European (INSOL Europe) and Dutch (INSOLAD) Insolvency Lawyers Associations and also of the Corporate Litigation Association.
Carry regularly gives courses and presentations on his field of expertise, and also publishes articles and annotations. In addition to his work as a lawyer, he supervises young entrepreneurs in internal operations management.
Mr. Dullaart has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): Insolventierecht (Faillissementen en Surceance van betaling) en Ondernemingsrecht (Bestuurdersaansprakelijkheid, fusies en overnames en Vennootschappen). Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
