Today the WLN Litigation & Arbitration Focus Group met to conclude current discussions about bankruptcy proceedings in our jurisdictions. It addressed whether there are any special debts for which the director of a company can be held accountable more easily.
Many thanks to Gloria Vinyals for chairing the meeting and to John Kenneally, Kevin Harrison, Sebastiaan Meeuwens and Ashley Chen for sharing their expertise. It was fascinating to hear different proceedings across Belgium, China, England, and Spain.
The group will now move onto an investigation of how Arbitration works in our various jurisdictions.
